Stockroom

Artists and Makers Space

Stockroom is an exciting rural arts hub located in Kyneton’s thriving style precinct, Piper Street, Victoria. One hour from Melbourne, Piper Street Kyneton has become one of busiest culture precincts in Victoria.

Stockroom is an ambitious and unique space that includes a large, split level retail space showcasing contemporary artists and Australian makers and designers who create a range of products including jewellery, ceramics, homewares, furniture and fashion. Displayed amongst a collection of vintage and industrial furniture and collectables, the Stockroom makers and designers works are carefully selected for their innovation, superb finish, presentation, skills and uniqueness, and as such, are at the cutting edge of contemporary craft and design.

Stockroom also houses two art galleries and a project space. Directed by Kent Wilson, the Stockroom galleries and project space host an exciting exhibition program representing the forefront of Australian contemporary art practice.
The exhibitions change monthly with openings on the second Saturday of each month.

Stockroom directors Magali Gentric and Jason Waterhouse are passionate about creating a vibrant space to showcase Australian makers, designers and artists who bring to the public contemporary and innovative works to inspire and enjoy.
